To correctly initialize the Flash system, please follow the steps below:

1.Install the SAMLight software and the hardware as described in the SAMLight manual.

2.Adjust the settings and jobs according to your needs.

3.Save the job (*.sjf file) and press the buttons 'Save Settings Now' and 'Save Pens Now' in the Settings - General tab to make sure all settings are saved.

4.Go to the Hardware Settings (via Settings - System - Optic - Advanced) and press the 'Store' button to save the current settings on the card.

5.Upload your job on the card by using the Extras -> Flash dialog.

6.(Optional: Create a copy of the SAMLight settings that where just used, located in <SCAPS>\system folder (The default name is sc_light_settings.sam.) as a backup together with the *.sjf file of the job or generate a backup.zip via SAMLight - Help - 'Generate Backup.zip'.)

 

Afterwards, you can disconnect the card from the PC, re-power the card and mark your job using Flash.
