SAMLight version and firmware version on the card should always match.

Therefore, when updating SAMLight, the firmware on the connected card needs to be updated as well. For more information please check the corresponding subchapter on System Maintenance.

Additionally, we recommend updating the Flash jobs (*.unf) when functionalities have changed due to a bug fix or include new features.

When changing a job - and no update is required or desired - the SAMLight version should be used that was installed on the PC at that time which generated the *.unf.
