note

The number of the blinking indicators depends on the chosen power supply, either self powered or bus powered. In self powered mode there are six indicators blinking. In bus powered mode there are seven indicators blinking. This is caused by the voltage of the USB port.

If there are more or less than six (self powered mode) or seven (bus powered mode) indicators blinking, then check the correctness of the reference's settings.

USC-1:

Analog Out A: When clicking the button without an value typed (0) green indicators should blink. Possible range: 0..255

Analog Out B: When clicking the button without an value typed (0)  yellow indicators should blink. Possible range: 0..255

The number of the gleaming indicators on the DB-37 depends on the value typed. E.g. 255 Analog Out B: All 12 yellow indicators should light up.

note

Analog Out A shifts the bits from MSB to LSB and Analog Out B reciprocal.

USC-2:

Analog Out A: When clicking the button without an value typed (0) green indicators should blink. Possible range: 0..4095

Analog Out B: When clicking the button  without an value typed (0) yellow indicators should blink. Possible range: 0..4095

Analog In: Therefore on the USC-2 Test Board a signal can be applied at the "ANALOG_IN" multi-pin connector. The varying bit count is shown in the box aside.

The number of the gleaming indicators on the DB-37 depend on the value typed. E.g. 4095 in Analog Out A: All 12 green indicators should light up.
