The USC-3 card needs a stable power supply provided at the card (Ext_VCC) according to the specification. Even short drops of the power can lead to problems of the performance.

Even short drops of the power supply of the USC-3 card can lead to problems of the performance.

Because of significant voltage drop mainly due to the cables between the power supply and the USC card (e.g. 0.3 V for cable of 2 m with 0.25 mm²) , we recommend to measure the current power applied to the card directly at the following places on the USC card:
