The PDF417 barcode is a 2D stacked linear barcode that is widely used for identification documents, transportation, and logistics.

It is known for high data capacity, error correction, and compatibility with standard scanners.

 

There are two barcode modes implemented corresponding to the type PDF417:

•PDF417 (classic)

•Micro PDF417
