There are different ways to connect a laser source to the USC-3 card.
Each laser has its own needs regarding software configuration and hardware signals. Therefore always ask our support team for a recommendation for how to wire your laser.
Some connection manuals are available online.
In the case of open questions send us a request via info@scaps.com with your laser source manual attached.
The following is an overview of the common signals that are used to control a laser source. All of these signals are located on the DB37 Laser I/O, 37 Pin Connector.
Note that not all of this signals are required for each laser.

Table 9: Laser Connection Signals
[a]: Every signal can be inverted by a software flag at sc_setup.exe → Hardware Settings → Settings → Driver Settings.
[b]: The voltage limit (2.5V / 5V / 10V) can be set in the group box Laserports at sc_setup.exe → Hardware Settings → Settings → Driver Settings.
If you are done with this step you can continue to connect the scan head.
