Date Time objects
Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The dynamic entity is always handled as a serial number which can appear as a DateTime object.

The real time clock on the USC-3 card is the master for the DateTime objects on the Flash.

The actual value of the real time clock can be checked and manipulated using the FCI command CT.

note

When using the external trigger mode, differences in time can occur: the flash job is generated and put on the flash storage when the external trigger mode is activated. Thus, the real time clock value is of the time of generation is stored. Then, it is easily possible to get a significant difference between the time which is marked (which is the time of generation) and the time when the job is actually marked (which is when the external trigger is send).

It is possible to combine a DateTime with a serial number and with a static string and print them all as one barcode.

note

It is not possible to combine a dynamic string and a DateTime, because the Inc Value must not be 0 for a DateTime object but needs to be 0 for a string object.
