Style Sets
Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Styles are sets of speed and delay parameter values that can be saved and reused in subsequent sections. There is always one currently selected style from a list of 255 possible styles. Separate from this selected style is the current "temporary" style that represents all currently applied settings. Modifications to style parameters such as speed or delay values are applied to this temporary style, and can then be saved to the selected style if desired. Switching the style will overwrite the "temporary" style with all settings in the new style.

A Style contains the following values:

Jump Speed

Mark Speed

Jump Delay

Mark Delay

Poly Delay

Laser On Delay

Laser Off Delay

Long Delay

Q Switch Period

Q Switch Length

First Pulse Length

Half Period

Standby Pulse

CO2 Half Period

Laser1 Length

Laser2 Length

Port Values

Wobble Period

Wobble Amplitude

Wobble Mode

Defocus value

Poly Delay Break Angle

They are used depending on the current laser mode and style options. For example, wobble values are only used if scComStandardDeviceStyleFlagEnableWobble is set in the scComStandardDeviceEnableFlagGroupStyle.

As a general rule, parameters that have "style" in their name can be stored in a style.
