Direct Motion Control: In the following all features of the Direct Motion Control are described. Depending on the capabilities of the used motion controller some of the functions may be not available.

Direct motion control: Axis: Axis name like specified in the settings. Current Pos.: Shows the current position. abs/rel: The user can switch between absolute or relative movement to the set target position. Target Position: Target position of the selected axis. Speed: Define the axis moving speed. Go: Moves all axes to the defined values above. Stop: Stops the movement. In some cases you can loose the current position! Then a homing is necessary to re-calibrate your axes. Update: By pressing this button the actual position is updated. This might be necessary if manual motions are done. The Update Button is not available for stepper motor controllers. Jog...: Opens the Jog Dialog. Home / Shift: Opens direct motion control Home / Shift dialog. Homing of a single axis is available by right-clicking on this button and then selecting the desired axis.
String Mode: Enable and send RS232 commands.
