The POSTNET (Postal Numeric Encoding Technique) barcode is a numeric barcode system developed by the United States Postal Service (USPS) for mail sorting and delivery optimization.
It encodes ZIP Codes, ZIP+4 Codes, and Delivery Point Codes to automate mail routing and improve efficiency and accuracy in postal operations.
